The Crystal Mining Fairy

Tuesday June 14th - Book Sixteen - In the first few weeks of my self-styled Bookmaking Boot Camp, I spend a lot of time trying to decide what the best way to use the written word to prove my work was. For the most part, the photos spoke for themselves. But the topics I chose to write about in The Making of The Living City were far ranging, especially out there in the woods alone. I decided that writing about what I did that day, before or after my work scene, made sense. It's like a quick documentary about all the things I had to do, and still have to do, in order to be Bookmaker Jake. In this scene, I told the story of how Bob had asked me to become his Crystal Mining Fairy. What does salting a rock slide with crystals for the sake of Bob's educational kids tours have to do with Bookmaker Jake? Well, you'll just have to buy this one and see...
