Saturday June 18th - Book 24 - "Today is situation normal in the northern Cascades: cold and drizzly. So it goes. It hasn't been a bad day--just not overtly adventurous." I made the cover for this production scene from my dwindling supply of boxes I brought from Wallowa County, OR. It's a Johnny's Seed Company box from my fellow homemaker Emily Cooper's on-going mission to become the best Farmer she can be. I like the way this one turned out in spite of my moments trying to "mint my production scene" by candlelight.
PROP COSTS: $10.15 + (STORYTIME WORKED: 2hrs 55min x OUR EXCHANGE RATE (based on fed minimum wage): $7.25) = $31.30
I hate that I forgot who I sold this one to, but I do know it was sometime in the summer of 2015, which means it was sold at Gresham Arts Festival, NW Book Festival, or Affordable Arts Festivals. I offer a sincere, formal apology to whoever bought this book. I didn't mean to treat them like a meaningless grocery line stranger who gave their bread of life to me trusting that I wouldn't be yet another meaningless grocery selling stranger. Please email me if you have this book! I'm so sorry! And I'd really like to know where it went!
