Monday July, 25 2011 - Book 72 - With the mining season about to roar in, I escaped for 3 days to say goodbye (for the month of August) to Emily in Enterprise, OR. It was a long drive, both ways, but I had a blast spending time with her. We swam, ran, and drank beer in our 3rd Beer Gut Triathalon (a local tradition) and fell asleep together star-gazing on the moraine which overlooked Wallowa Lake. The Life cereal box I made this cover from was the last thing I snatched from the local Enterprise Recycling Center before I made the long drive back to the cabin to await the Crystal Miners of "Spruce."
